Founders:

James R. Thomas
Jim Thomas is the president of JJET Enterprises. Jim Thomas’s interest in aviation began at age thirteen when he began spending time at the local airport. At age fifteen, he began flight training. As he got older, Jim’s passion for general aviation, experimental, and WWII aircraft continued to grow. A graduate of California State University at Hayward with a degree in Business Administration and an option in Accounting, Jim began his career at an international accounting firm in San Francisco before becoming Controller for an aerospace company in Sunnyvale, California. He left the company in 1989 to start JJET Enterprises with his brother Jud. Jim continues to participate at numerous airshows and aviation events.

Judson R. Thomas
Jud Thomas was recognized early in life for his engineering acumen and ability to solve mechanical and electrical problems.  Raised by a mechanical engineer that had flown in WWII, Jud used his natural talent to start working on aircraft at the age of sixteen.  Jud received his pilot’s license at age seventeen. Today, he also holds a FAA certified Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic license and a degree in Electronics. Jud is also an avid photographer and has an impressive collection of U.S. Military Aircraft photographs from the past decade. Jud joined his brother Jim to start JJET Enterprises in 1989.  To date, Jud has more than 35 years experience in aviation.
